Trumpisten Chess
By Gerd P. Degens
In this game on a board with five files and eleven ranks, it is decisive for the game to reach two squares where the pieces are promoted to amazonriders; amazonriders are more or less the trump card in the game. Another feature of the board is that four of the squares cannot be passed through. This means that a total of 51 squares is available.
Setup
Pieces
Please note that I use pieces that are similar to the usual set of pieces in orthodox chess, but some of them have different move possibilities. See the piece overview in the interactive diagram.

Rules
Stalemate is a win, bare king loses, the en passant capturing does not happen.
Pawns are promoted to queen, knight or rook on the last rank - at the player's choice.
If the squares a6 and e6 ('trump squares') are reached, the pieces are upgraded to amazonriders, regardless of which piece is involved (with the exception of the king). The conversion to amazonriders is maintained for the rest of the game. The squares a5/a7 and e5/e7 are blind squares that cannot be passed through.
