Note that this tweak will make things worse for large boards unless it is accompanied by the changes I made to CreateBoard(), which accomplish the same task as setting aspect-ratio was supposed to. It is because of this code that I originally removed the line for setting aspect-ratio, which might be the main thing I did that got rid of the extra space.
