I have played the game with many variations, including placing additional boards down (3 x 3 or a aquare with a hole hole in the center and 4 kingdoms on either the corners or inner pieces between the corners). Though not as intense as chess, Feudal does command your entire attention. If you fail to look over every move prior to passing the turn, you are likely to suffer a serious setback, or worse yet, defeat!.
