Yes, Abdul-Rahman, interesting thought; maybe we'll have to try that out some time. Thanks. Or maybe replacing knights with maos or your donkeys might be enough, for just slightly decreased mobility.

I took down some of the nightrider vs. nightrider armies after I was embarrassed to discover that some had pawns that could be snatched on the first move and one of them had a mate in one. Quel catastrophe!
