I have a variant where China also joined:

Black is Shogi, White is Xiangqi with two queens(狂) and four bishops(斜) from the chess.

The start position is this(dot is empty grid):

lmsgkgsml
.r.....b.
ppppppppp
.........
.........
.........
P.P.P.P.P
.C.....C.
QBB...BBQ
RNEAKAENR

How many chance will China+USA side win?

This is not fair for Chinese side. I suggest that Chinese side having a special piece(Mad warrior, M), just like this:

rnbq.kbnr
pppp.pppp
.........
.........
.........
.........
P.P.P.P.P
MC.....CM
.........
RHEAKAEHR

Mad warrior can move as the combine of Rook, Horse(Xiangqi), Cannon, and also Dragon King in Shogi.

Actually there are lots of pronounciation error on Chinese Characters. I propose to use The Complete Collection of Ancient and Modern Characters including Hanzi, Tangut, Khitan, Jurchen and Phagspa in 漢字 mode to get the correct pronounciation such as 前 is qián instead of xin.

I means, the Smess in Shogi style, with directional Shogi board and playable with Shogi set. Thus Brain is 玉将, Numskull is 飞车, Yahoo is 桂马, and so on. It is not simply Smess plus Crazyhouse, that Smegi should called Crazess.

A lot of fourth-tone(which is 5-1 in IPA) were written in second-tone(3-5). Such as 將 is jiàng instead of jiáng. Also, 前後 is totally wrong -- The pronounciation in it doesn't make sense(qian → xin and hou → han).

Because Smess pieces have the same type of FIDE chess pieces, so it is also playable with chess suit except you don't need knights, bishops, queens, and need an extra suit of chess pieces(to get two more Numskulls because they're represented by Rook), and Brains simply Kings, Ninnies simply Pawns. Also, if you have Smess board then that's better, if you want to use FIDE board then ignore h column, then draw the corresponding directions(arrows) on every grid.

You may use translators. Traditional Chinese is hard to understand -- The website contains Ancient Chinese so Microsoft Translator is a good choice: Translat Traditional Chinese into Simplified Chinese, then Pick out Ancient Part, then translate them to English. Microsoft Translator even support tlhIngan!

There is actually a Chinese form of pieces. Pawns are 贝(Seashell), Rooks are 舟(Boat), Knights are 马(Horse), Bishop are 根(Root), Queen is 种(Seed), and King is 君(Emperor). Also, birds are used to be another theme: Pawn is Swallow, Rook is Falcon, Knight is Crane, Bishop is Eagle, Queen is "Peng", and King is Phoenix(凰).

Qmz Rgszmz wrote on Sat, May 3 09:51 AM UTC:

I have a new piece design, but I don't know how to create a page of piececlopedia(The index profile of it doesn't make sense).

My new piece is angel, it is shown as a pawn with a pair of wings. It moves like a centaur, but nearby friendly pieces(The pieces with same color of it and adjacent to it) won't be attacked. In atomic chess, pieces guardianed by angel won't explode, but angel explodes instead. Also, I designed archangel according to this. It is still an angel, except moves like a Maharaja.

The rule said "Remove an empty tile on the edge", but I think I can use transparent brick on chess.com to get a sinked tile.
