DEEPER_GLUE vs WORLD CHAMP TODAY: 20Y - 2 Weeks…

May 2017 (and after) will be The month of the debate : Human-chimp=BRAIN vs A.I.

Since game 6 of the Deeper-blue-Kasparov re-match, played in NYC on May 11, 1997., what a run :

currently, the most basic-connected fridge has the hability to beat man !

Already, Google A.I-DEEPMIND seems developing very bad caracter in process of loosing, (in between machines-contests), tending to make « extremely agressive » choices...

But, for pioneering enthusiasts, her are some ideas for « Refuznik’s » cogitations...

Above all we must have in mind that in the sequences TACTICAL > OPERATIONAL > STRATEGIC (narrowest to largest), the game of Chess1.0 only reached the second, but never the third, if not only by langage mis-abuse…

An example among others, with our chesstrend.com productions (not yet commercial project, therefore free of speech in these C.V. amateur Pages, I beg...thank’s )

The (playable !) STRATEQxCHESS2.0 has a resolution probably superior to the power 500, that no Cyber could actually beat in the trial MAN=STRATEGIST vs CYBORG=HyperTACTICIAN only.

Of course derivates of Chess are the best skills to prove that we will meet an « intelligence » front of us one or other decade… Hour eyes have the « holo-architect » vision, and our mind is able to anticipate survival strategies, in projecting the future… THAT, can’t yet the Machine, reloading the challenge !

Let us share some interesting Ref’s from scattered autors:

§ INFINITE CHESS by Joel D. Hamkins, a math/logic hipster.

§ Axiom system developer- Greg Schmidt « The future evolution of chess variants »

§ The Future of Post-Human Chess: A Preface to a New Theory of Tactics an Strategy by Peter Baofu.

A wonderfull title for an undrinkable book {;°ààà}

« TACTICS WITHOUT STRATEGY IS NOISE BEFORE DEFEAT » said Lao Tzu very long time ago :

In this reasoning way, the « BOLSHOYA- YKRA », the Great-Extended-Game, is certainly coming, which will have the hability to swallow « Deep-Glue » ...

Please limit your comments to Chess variants or the operation of this site.
Keep this website a safe space for Chess variant hobbyists of all stripes.
Because we want people to feel comfortable here no matter what their political or religious beliefs might be, we ask you to avoid discussing politics, religion, or other controversial subjects here. No matter how passionately you feel about any of these subjects, just take it someplace else.
Avoid Inflammatory Comments
If you are feeling anger, keep it to yourself until you calm down. Avoid insulting, blaming, or attacking someone you are angry with. Focus criticisms on ideas rather than people, and understand that criticisms of your ideas are not personal attacks and do not justify an inflammatory response.
