Last month, my computer got slightly fried when lightning struck a tree
about 20 meters away. [Got to use an old laptop on occasion, but couldn't
access most of my stuff.] This past weekend, I got the last part replaced,
and got back online. The first thing I got was 1046 emails. I'm down to
285 unread emails, but it's quite obvious I'm way behind on matters
CVish. I owe several correspondents emails and work - so far, Charles,
Larry, Matt, Simon... anyway, to those who were beginning to wonder
what's happening, now you know. I'd really appreciate still more emails,
explaining exactly what I promised but haven't yet done. :-) My apologies
for delays.
