I set the computer to play itself. After 10 games, I can conclude that White has a major advantage, winning 5 of the 10 games. Black (why call it red?) only won one game, all the rest were draws. This to me shows that the game is extremely unbalanced.

The applets on this site have terrible AI, FYI.

The AI is terrible. The king is supposed to be their main slaughter house, but when put in check, he just runs away instead of raping the pieces.

It's not that unbalanced; the red AI just has no idea what it's doing

I have always liked the idea of unbalanced sides in chess variants. Similar games like the Fox and Hounds and Peasants Revolt are fun games and great teaching tools for beginners.

But me being me, if I have invented this variation I would have called it Thermopylae Chess with each pawn representing 75 Spartans.

And yes, pay no attention to the AI, it plays a very poor game for all variants and should, in my opinion, play no part in a variants evaluation.
