Firstly does this game have any advantage over more compact variants such as Dessau and (better still!) Altenburg (see Four Handed Chess I on the Multi-player index)? Secondly how do Pawns move? You say that they can be promoted on any of the four enemy first-rank squares. How can any of them reach the two nearest enemy Rook squares?
