These rules are much too cryptic to make sense of. Some English explication would help.
What does 'empty' mean? Does it mean that both pieces disappear from the board? If so, it's even more fiendish than the more transparent alternative that I thought of, which was a piece capturing its opposite becoming a Pawn.
Why, yes. Heeheehee. You could think of it, for example, as it being rude for a Knight to take a Queen.
