Neptune. A strange Chesslike game that was found in January of 2019. (Cells: 271) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

Once I got past the theme* and looked at the actual mix of pieces this game
grew on me. Movement diagrams wouldn't go amiss for those not familiar
with hex moves (or perhaps even those who think we are!) but it looks a
worthwhile addition to the set of hex variants.
*Not to my taste but since I'm not from planet Neptune why should I make
a fuss?!

I'll try to include diagrams.

It is interesting to see whether we meant the same thing by '120° Crooked' and it seems that we don't! My usage refers to how far they turn between directions, rather than the angle spanned by the two steps. Thus an angle more than 90° indicates a piece turning back on itself. This usage stems from describing the turns of Curved pieces, so that the full set of turns (four 37° and four 53° turns in the Rose's case) adds up to 360°. To be fair I can see the logic both ways.

Could somebody who knows ZRF programming language make a ZOG file for this game? I like it!
