The name is written BAROQUE backward. Ultima game is also called Baroque. So, yes it is Ultima variant

Ha ha, a negative parallel universe Ultima! And now give to the white side the original Baroque pieces and to the black side the Euqorab ones. Must be a mind crushing mess.
Nice concept and homage to the original. The "wrong reaper" is clever and not something I had thought of. One thing maybe missing from the set is to change to the king from anti king chess that can't be captured, but requires constant enemy threat. As mentioned the widow is essentially an immobiliser and the "independent" is overpowered, though the presence of the anti king would makes it a more acceptable piece. Also in the spirit of the game would be to have a "mobiliser" type that for example allows double move to adjacent friendlies.
The Eris seems to be too strong. If I understand the piece correctly, the Eris can attack any non-royal piece in the opponent's backrow.
I think the Eris is supposed to move as a chess Queen. At the end of its move, any enemy piece that is on the same file as the Eris & same rank as the enemy King, or on the same rank as the Eris & the same file is the enemy King, is captured which means you can only capture a maximum of 2 pieces in one move with Eris. The Eris can never move to an occupied square. Similar to the Coordinator.
The problem is that the Eris coordinates with the enemy King. All backrow pieces share their rank with the King.
It takes at least two turns to move the King from his starting position. The white Eris can capture a backrow piece on the second turn.
What if after your King advances you do the same to your opponent?
Black would need to free the black Eris first. White might still have the advantage. I am not a great chess player, but I am still not convinced that the Eris is balanced.

And indeed, since setup is the “Same as FIDE Chess”, the chosen victim after e.g. 2. Ea2
could be the opponent's Eris, making retaliation impossible.
Arguably it'd still be worth playing the opening out a bit further to see if doing that is a blunder, but yes, normally that kind of forcible line is considered a defect
How about this?
Euqorab 2: Electric Boogaloo
The Protector is an antiform of Immobilizer because it affects adjacent friendly pieces rather than adjacent enemy pieces.
The Skewer is the antiform of Long Leaper because it can only capture more than one enemy piece if there's no empty space between the enemy pieces.
The Borrower is the antiform of the Chameleon because its movement is based on friendly pieces rather than enemy pieces.
The Antiranker is the antiform of Coordinator because it doesn't require your King to be in a specific position to capture & is a major piece.
