So is the 47 contest on? I haven't seen its own page yet.

Charles, it is a future contest. There is enough interest in these contests that I can't see not having them; it's more a question of how they are judged. I started off as an entrant in the last contest, and wound up the main judge. I'd like to have better contingency plans if there is a drop-out among those judging. I lean toward each contestant judging all others' entries, but not one's own. This too has its problems, and is far from the best solution, which is probably an independent panel of judges pre-chosen. Let me revive the Contests thread for us to continue this discussion off John's game page.
