ed trice is running a gothic chess tournament on brainking.  first prize is
$250 and there is no entry fee.  I sent a more detailed annoucement on it
to aronson last night but i don't know how long it will be before he gets

unfortunately brainking has been down all day. that is the one drawback to brainking, it is not always reliable, it is not unusual for it to go down for a period of 24 hours or more. <P> when this happens tho, all players automatically get more time added to their games so they don't forfeit. so i would not be surprised if they extend the GC tourney signup date as well. i will keep everybody posted. <P> btw, last time i checked, there were 67 people signed up, so it should be a good tourney.
