When I sent Larry an email today, I got a MAILER-DAEMON response saying that his mailbox could not be found. And since it's a Yahoo account, and I was also using a Yahoo account, I know there is nothing wrong with his email host. So I presume his email account has been deleted. Since he has not logged in here since 2016, and he used to be very active here, it's looking like he could be dead. In doing a web search on his full name of Larry Lynn Smith, I found it to be a very common name among recently deceased people, finding obituaries for six different people with that name. Here they are in case anyone knows anything more identifiable about him than I do:
