Okay, I have uploaded this to https://www.chessvariants.com/graphics.dir/svg/Greenwade/index.html. It could use some mention of names and possibly some elaboration on what some images represent.
I like the general design, but some of the lines you use are just too thin for rendering them at 35x35 or lower. (E.g. the eye on the pointy hat, the flames on the bird, the crossed arrows on many pieces.) You should try to never go below a cetrtain line width, which must be larger than what you currently use.
I acknowledge the lines issue. When I was putting them together, I used a 10mm line width (on a space of ~200x200). Shrinking down some of the icons for inclusion as sub-icons, even just to half, reduced that to 5mm, which is the problem you see. And, frankly, when I started I thought the 10mm lines were going to be too thick!
I'll prioritize fixing those too-small parts for a future update.

I'll get on that, editing this page accordingly. Since the images don't show here, but on the actual Index page, I needed to get the Index in place so I could better know what to put where.
I'm trying to see if I can get captions to work here; if I can, I'll get the piece and/or icon name with each one. Most of the Modifiers can get a brief explanation, too.
I might even put an XBetza on those that I have such for (and there are nearly 200), but that'll be somewhat later
I've done the Pieces section so that everything's labeled with a name. I'm not sure how to make sure they all line up, but at least the labels are there.
Okay, I copied your new Pieces section to the index.html page.
I just went in and fixed a couple of HTML errors, with the Mecklenbeck Pawn and the Zulu Shield.
Addendum: Also added some sample combo icons, mostly to demonstrate some of the Modifiers.
Putting together updated icons (most of them per H. G.'s note) was a good bit quicker than expected.
Hopefully there aren't any other issues.
(There's not much to be done about the numerals and other small text characters, unfortunately.)
@Fergus:
In case you mssed these updates (the preceding two comments here). :)
Okay, I unzipped Greenwade11.zip.
Thanks... but don't neglect the HTML from the Pieces section! :)
Addendum: It's just as well that got delayed, as I'd somehow forgotten to include the Mongolian Pawn!...
Addendum: ...and the Bowman....
While we're waiting for the HTML to be updated, hopefully H.G. finds the thickened lines to be an improvement (though I think the Leo and N2R4 may actually have gotten worse).
@Fergus: I've uploaded another update, and fixed the Pieces HTML here to include the new pieces and other corrections.
Okay, I have uploaded them, and I have updated the index file to your images. I also made all the local links relative and put quotation marks around src values that didn't have them, and I updated this page with the changes so that you can make any new changes to a version that already has these things done.
Thank you ever so much!
That will hopefully be the last update for a while -- unless, of course, some other error surfaces.
I did find an error to fix; the good news, it's only with the HTML here (I'd somehow neglected to include the Grasshopper). So only that little bit needs to be changed (please).
I don't see the images on this page, neither with Firefox nor with Safari on a Mac Book. Is that normal?

Yes. This page is the working version; the public version is here. (I depend on Fergus to transfer things when I have an update.)

I updated the Pieces section on the index page.
And once again, Fergus, I give you my thanks. :)
It occurs to me that this should also be changed to a Desktop Publishing page (even though it will -- and should -- never ever ever ever be actually published).
Just edited this, and uploaded icons to go with it (a couple of which are fixes to icons already in the set).
I don't know if it is normal or not, I don't see any image in this page, neither with Firefox nor Safari on a McBook.
It's normal. The actual published version is here. I depend on Fergus to move things (which is why I have to make a Comment about it).

@Fergus,
I don't know whether I'm doing this right, but here's the info to be posted as /graphics.cir/svg/greenwade/index.html.
