I would like to be able to edit old contributions I had made years ago, in the Hans B's years.
Sure, that is no problem. If there is a page you would like deleted, just post a comment on the page saying "please delete" and I will remove it as long as I do not see any reason it needs to stay. (If a page has attracted a lot of interest and has intelligent discussion on it, I would not want to delete it.)
As for editing old HTML pages, you can either email me the updated text or - if you know HTML - I can email you the files and you can edit them and mail them back to me.
Thank you Greg. I would like to revise the text of Toulousain Chess and Perfect12. Maybe I can try the HTML, I do it for my own website.
You're welcome! I have sent them to the email address we have on file.

Is it possible?
It is if you become an editor again and use SFTP or SCP (the modern equivalents of FTP). Nothing is in place to allow non-editors to edit HTML pages.

Or for some of them, even delete them. I'm thinking of very early ones (proto-chess, proto-xiangqi) which do not correspond at all today to something I would say. Is it possible?
